Audiofil Design Exhibition, Poland

Telewizja Polska i Jerzy Batycki przy wzmacniaczach lampowych Egg-Shell

In February 2014 the Audiofil Design exhibition was held for the third time in Bielsko-Biala. During the show a wide range of High-End audio equipment was presented to enthusiasts of music.

As previously the Audiofil Design show was one of a few events which took place next to the most popular Polish jazz festival – Lotos Jazz Festival Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa.

We are proud to be one of the exhibitors, showing our Prestige line valve amplifiers.

This edition of the show has turned out to be the most interesting ever so far.

The range of equipment presented was quite wide and various, however a strong focus was put on vacuum valve amplifiers. We, Encore Seven, displayed our renowned, well appreciated Egg-Shell Prestige 9WST amplifier, as well, as the latest release from our designing line, the Egg-Shell Prestige 10WKT model, based on KT88 and 6SN7 tubes, controlled with its intriguing remote control, which naturally caught every visitor’s attention.

Both the presented amplifiers powered two different sets of speaker boxes by Bodnar Audio from the Horton or Woodline product lines. They are floor standing speaker boxes based on a single full-range loudspeaker drive units, with very high efficiency, which makes them a perfect match for low power vacuum valve amplifiers.

Another event which took place during the festival was the exhibition of the best musical photographs submitted for the Polish Musical Photography contest, which we organised together with the Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa Festival, Polish Radio and the MPC (Musical Photography Collective), which is yet another initiative of ours.

During the Audiofil Design show we hosted The Trio of Oz with the famous Omar Shakim – the world recognised drummer, who played with the greatest and the most popular musicians on this globe: Miles Davis, Sting, David Bowie but also Madonna, Mariah Carey or Dire Straits (his drums may be heard on one of the group’s best known albums: Brothers in Arms).

You are warmly invited to see the gallery of photographs from the Audiofil Design show.
